📏Enclosure Size:
An adult should be housed alone in an enclosure of at least 30cm in length. Provide deep, compactable substrate for burrowing, with a secure lid.

🌡️Temperature:
Maintain an ambient temperature of 26–30°C, and a cooler area of 22–25°C. Use thermostatically controlled heating on one side or from above. Do not heat from underneath.

💧Humidity:
This is a dry-savanna species, so 50% humidity is more than efficientt. Keep the surface mostly dry, with a lightly moist area deeper in the substrate and good airflow. Provide a shallow water dish.

🌱Substrate:
Deep, compactable substrate for burrowing. A mix of sand, topsoil and clay, or just clay and sand works well to hold stable burrows. Remember to try to keep the bottom layer with a soil that can retain water to allow the scorpion to dig under to regulate itself.

⏰Feeding schedule:
Feed every 2 weeks. Offer appropriately sized prey such as crickets, roaches, or locusts. Adults may skip meals, so remove uneaten prey after 24 hours.

🥣Water Source:
Provide a shallow water dish with fresh water. This species will readily drink and sometimes sit in the dish to help regulate hydration.

🍃Ventilation
Provide good cross-ventilation, including airflow near substrate level. Avoid stagnant, damp conditions, but maintain a slightly moist area within the lower substrate.

🙈Hides:
Essential to provide deep substrate for burrow construction. You can also add flat rocks, cork bark, or artificial caves to simulate natural rocky crevices.
