Packing Process
During the colder seasons, scorpions are packed into insulated shipping boxes using 6 sheets of thick styrofoam. This not only helps to keep the cold out, but also to prevent the warm temperature inside from escaping.

Each scorpion is securely placed in a sealed plastic container to ensure safety during transit. To prevent movement within the package, we add blue packing peanuts, providing additional cushioning and stability.
A 72+ hour heat pack is then enclosed inside the box to maintain a consistent, warm environment throughout their journey.
Note:
While shipping is completed within one business day, the extended duration of the heat pack serves as a precaution to guarantee optimal conditions during transit.

1. Shipping Policy

Shipping Days: We ship live scorpions Monday through Thursday only, excluding UK bank holidays. This policy ensures that in the event of a Royal Mail delay, animals are not left in transit over a weekend.

Live scorpions: Delivery is available to UK mainland only.

Non-living items (equipment, accessories, etc.): These may be shipped internationally.

Weather Conditions: Shipping live animals is weather-dependent. In extreme heat or cold, we may delay dispatch to protect animal welfare. We will always communicate any such delays.
2. Responsibility of the Buyer

Correct Address: It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address. GeoScorps will not be held responsible for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect information provided.

Legal Restrictions: You must ensure that it is legal to receive and keep live scorpions in your area (including borough, county, or country). GeoScorps accepts no liability for breaches of local laws.

Receiving Your Order: It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel on the day of delivery. If the package is returned or delayed due to no one being home, and the animal is found deceased, no refund or replacement will be issued.
3. Order Processing

Orders are typically dispatched the next working day after placement. However, processing may be delayed due to factors such as:

4. Live Arrival Guarantee

We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all scorpion orders:

If your scorpion arrives Dead on Arrival (DOA), we will offer a refund or replacement.

Proof of DOA (photo/video evidence) must be provided the day of delivery.

The package must have been received on the first delivery attempt for the guarantee to apply.

We do not offer compensation or replacement for scorpions that die after arrival or due to improper care, handling, or enclosure conditions provided by the customer.
5. Animal Welfare

The health and welfare of our animals is our top priority. All live animals are sent with appropriate packaging and temperature considerations.

We reserve the right to delay or cancel a shipment if we believe the weather or transit conditions pose a risk to the animal's safety.
6. Refunds & Returns

Live animals cannot be returned unless under the terms of the Live Arrival Guarantee.

For non-living items, returns are accepted within 14 days in unused, original condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Refunds (where applicable) will be issued once the item has been inspected and approved.
7. Limitation of Liability

GeoScorps is not responsible for any harm, injury, or legal issues that may arise from the ownership, care, or mishandling of the scorpions after delivery.

Customers must have appropriate knowledge and resources to care for exotic invertebrates and are encouraged to do research before purchasing.
