Mesomexovis variegatus

Originating from Mexico, Mesomexovis variegatus is an interesting species belonging to the family Vaejovidae, recognised for its dark brown colouration and subtle, mottled markings.
The species name variegatus means "variegated" or "having different colours", referring to its patterned appearance.

Unlike many scorpions with strongly contrasting markings, M. variegatus displays a more subdued colour pattern, with darker markings blending into its brown body.

Rarely encountered within the UK hobby, this unusual Mexican species makes an interesting addition to collections, particularly for enthusiasts of lesser-known scorpions from Central America.
